Womens Retreat - Living Our Mission with Women in Scripture

Increase your genius and join us for a daylong retreat reflecting on women in scripture and how they inspire and guide us to take part in the divine plan for renewal in our church and our world! Our day will include prayer, music, presentations, faith sharing, quiet reflection, and journal writing at a gentle pace. Speakers are Mary Jane Silvia, Director of Adult Faith Formation, and Mary Ellen Mahon, Secretary for Catholic Formation of the Manchester Diocese. The retreat will take place at Our Lady Of The Miraculous Medal Church in Hampton on Saturday, January 26, 2019, with check-in at 8:00am, Mass at 8:30am, programs before and after lunch, and closing at 2:30PM.  The cost is $15.00 (including lunch) and financial assistance is available. Women Retreat of St. Theresa Parish

All wonderful women of St. Theresa, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and St. Elizabeth Parishes, do you want to go on our overnight retreat up at Marie Joseph Spiritual Center?

 

Our Fall Women’s Retreat is Friday, Sept. 14th leaving from St. Theresa after 8:30 am Mass, heading up to MJSC in Biddeford Pool Maine. We are back to St. Theresa Saturday, Sept. 15th by 3:30 pm. This year's themes "Love & Trust Like the Little Flower" will give you time to listen, reflect, walk on the beach, learn & share with other women.  Prepare yourself for a busy school & holiday year with time for God and you. As mothers & grandmothers, you deserve this! Space is limited. 

The cost is $100 for room and meals.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISES OF ST. IGNATIUS: 19TH ANNOTATION RETREAT

Are you:

  • Looking to deepen your relationship with God?

  • Wanting to rekindle your prayer life?

  • Yearning for a greater connectedness with all of creation?

  • Facing a major decision?

  • Wondering about Pope Francis’ beautiful spirituality?

 

If you answered yes to any of these questions, consider making the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, 19th Annotation Retreat.  This 30-week retreat begins in September and ends in May.  It is commonly called,  “The Retreat of Daily Life”.  It is held at St. Martha Church, in Kennebunk, on Wednesdays.  You would have the choice of EITHER Wednesday morning OR Wednesday evening.  Each session consists of meeting one on one with a prayer guide (spiritual director), and listening to a reflection done by one of the guides.  Daily praying with scripture is also part of the retreat.  The Exercises are the background out of which Pope Francis comes.
